Project Manager (Substation Projects)
Location: Raleigh, NC (Remote flexibility considered)
The client is an industry-leading company at the forefront of the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector, renowned for their commitment to excellence and innovation.
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in leading complex substation projects from initiation to successful completion. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background in T&D, combined with demonstrated expertise in managing high-value CAPEX projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of substation projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to streamline project execution.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders and senior management, maintaining transparency and accountability.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project issues.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven track record as a Project Manager, specifically in substation projects with CAPEX ranging from $10 million to $100 million.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in Transmission & Distribution (T&D), with an in-depth understanding of substation project requirements.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide cross-disciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
